Paris Saint-Germain vs. Borussia Dortmund: Champions League team news, match stats and LIVE blog!

Dortmund remain unbeaten so far this season after winning a topsy-turvy game 4-2 in Freiburg on Saturday. In addition to the result, Edin Terzic will be pleased with his side's resilience in fighting back from 2-1 down to take all three points. Mats Hummels scored twice in that game but faces competition for a spot in central defence from Niklas Süle, whose pace will be an asset against Mbappe and former Eintracht Frankfurt forward Randal Kolo Muani. Elsewhere, Terzic could opt for a change up top after Füllkrug came off the bench to replace Sebastien Haller and swiftly teed up Donyell Malen for the all-important equaliser on Saturday. Marius Wolf is another pushing for a start, although Julian Ryerson and Ramy Bensebaini are likely to keep their full-back slots.

PSG's preparations for this game were far from ideal as they lost 3-2 at home to Nice on what was Kolo Muani's debut for the club. That defeat, their first of the season, has left them in fifth in the Ligue 1 standings, three points behind leaders Monaco. Mbappe scored twice in that game to take his tally to seven in four outings, and his attacking threat will be complemented by former Dortmund winger Ousmane Dembele, who scored 10 goals in 49 games for BVB in 2016/17. Right-back Achraf Hakimi is another with a Dortmund past, the Morocco international scoring 12 in 73 games for the club between 2018 and 2020.Match stats

Paris Saint-Germain vs. Borussia Dortmund:

Malen has scored more goals (three) than any other Dortmund player so far this season.

Marco Reus is playing in his 10th season of Champions League football. He is Dortmund's record scorer in the competition, with 22 goals.

Haller has scored 10 goals in 11 Champions League appearances, with all his efforts falling in the 2021/22 group stage for former club Ajax.

BVB only lost one of six group games last season - a late 2-1 defeat to eventual winners Manchester City.

Dortmund have faced French opposition 14 times in the Champions League to date, winning eight and losing six.

Dortmund have met PSG once before in the Champions League. They won the home leg of their 2019/20 last-16 tie 2-1, but lost 2-0 in Paris.
