Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg, a midfielder for Tottenham who represents Denmark internationally, is entering the final two years of his contract. Erik ten Hag is also considering Ryan Gravenberch of Bayern Munich and Sofyan Amrabat of Fiorentina as midfield options.
It is believed that Manchester United and Tottenham midfielder Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg have made "initial contact" on a possible transfer.
Hojbjerg's contract is in its final two years, and Tottenham would let him depart if a good bid came through.

Earlier in this transfer window, the Danish international came very close to joining Atletico Madrid.
The Dutchman previously managed Hojbjerg at Bayern Munich's reserve squad in 2013, and the 28-year-old has only made two substitute appearances for Tottenham this season.
Prior to Hojbjerg's departure from Southampton for Tottenham in 2020, he also sought to sign him at Ajax.
Sofyan Amrabat of Fiorentina and Ryan Gravenberch of Bayern Munich are two further choices.
Both players are favourites of Ten Hag, who previously managed Amrabat at Utrecht and Gravenberch at Ajax.
