Harry Kane, the captain of England, scored twice on Bayern Munich's home Bundesliga debut, continuing the league champions' unbeaten start.
In his first two Bundesliga games, Kane became the first English player to score when he clipped a penalty down the middle just before halftime.
After the break, the ex-Tottenham forward completed the 3-1 victory with a beautiful outside-of-the-foot finish.
Throughout the game, Thomas Tuchel's team controlled possession.
"Great game today," Kane remarked in a post-game video on social media. "It was a fantastic sensation to score two goals in front of you supporters.
"There is still much work to be made, but getting two wins to start the year is a terrific start. As usual, thanks for your support.

Kane Stuns Scores Two Goals |
"You know [I] appreciate each and every one of you there in the stadium singing my name, so look forward to next week, recover well, and let's keep it going," he said.
Leroy Sane's shot hit the post and deflected in off defender Felix Uduokhai to give Bayern the lead after a slow start.
After being instructed by the video assistant referee to check his monitor, referee Sascha Stegemann then gave Niklas Dorsch's handball a penalty, which Kane converted with ease.
After the break, Bayern looked much more promising. Sane curled a beautiful shot against the post before Kane was found onside and unimpeded in the middle by Alphonso Davies, who lofted a composed finish into the goal.
Dion Beljo, a substitute, managed to wiggle free and poke in a late consolation for the guests, while Kane missed an opportunity to go for a hat-trick by heading wide.
But starting from his stint at Spurs in the Premier League, he has now scored in seven straight league games.
