Tough Clashes in Champions League Quarter-Final draw

Home

The draw for the quarterfinals of the Champions League pits Chelsea against Real Madrid, and Manchester City takes on Bayern Munich.

In the quarterfinals of the Champions League, Chelsea will compete against Real Madrid, the current champions.

As Manchester City take on six-time champions Bayern Munich, head coach Pep Guardiola will compete against his old team.

The reigning Serie A champions, AC Milan, will take on Napoli, while Inter Milan will compete against Benfica.

In the event that both Chelsea and Manchester City advance to the semifinals, they will compete against one another in an all-Premier League semi-final, while the other semi-final will pit AC Milan or Napoli against either Inter Milan or Benfica.

The first games of the quarter-finals are scheduled to take place on April 11-12, while the second legs are scheduled for April 18-19.

The first two legs of the semifinals will take place on May 9-10, and the second two legs will take place on May 16-17.

The championship match is scheduled to take place on June 10 at the Ataturk Olympic Stadium in Istanbul, Turkey.

It is the third consecutive season that Real Madrid and Chelsea, who have a combined total of 14 titles, will compete against one another in the competition.

After defeating Real in the semi-finals on their way to winning the trophy in 2020-21, Chelsea fell to the Spanish giants in the quarter-finals of the competition last season and was defeated 5-4 on aggregate by them.

Since Pep Guardiola took over as manager of Bayern Munich in 2014, Manchester City and Bayern Munich have not faced each other in a competitive match since then.
